Desi Laughs brings new season to Dubai
First in the line up is Indian comedian Jeeveshu Ahluwalia, who will perform on October 20 at Ductac, Mall of the Emirates
Desi Laughs is back with a new season.
Jeeveshu Ahluwalia, a regular on the Indian comedy circuit, will be here on October 20. He has done more than 1,500 shows across different genres. Jeeveshu–Unabashed/Uninhibited/Unapologetic has been performed in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines. This will be the first time he performs it in Dubai. He made his Bollywood debut with Tamasha, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone directed by Imitaz Ali.

Returnees Aisi Taisi Democracy will perform on December 8. Translated loosely as “to hell with democracy”, the show comprises three artists: musician and activist Rahul Ram, stand-up comedian Sanjay Rajoura and writer Varun Grover, who take pot shots at people, the government and politicians. More details to be revealed later.
