Emirati-Yemeni singer Balqees performed for fans at Mall of the Emirates on Friday.
The free concert, part of Dubai Summer Surprises, included Balqees’ hits from her past three albums.
The soprano singer, who was named the first UN Women’s Planet 50-50 ambassador for the Arab States Region, released her debut album, Majnoon, in 2013, followed by her sophomore album Zai Ma Ana in 2015, and most recently, Arahenkom.
