Dubai Fitness Challenge: 10 free unusual classes you have to try

SKI DUBAI: Ski Dubai will host a series of free-to-attend activities, which will make it fun and easy for everyone to complete their 30 minutes of physical activity in -4⁰C temperature. Take part in the HIIT and hiking classes on the slopes of Ski Dubai. You could also take part in a Snow Yoga ‘Snoga’ class. Of course, the classes are absolutely free.

XSTRIKE DUBAI: Unleash your inner warrior at Xstrike, an action-packed indoor entertainment destination in Dubai. Combat simulation meets competitive gaming for all ages. Xstrike offers a completely new way to experience the adrenaline-pumping atmosphere of a real-life battlefield. For Dubai Fitness Challenge they are offering free session on specific days.

NIKE SWIM CLINIC: Nike launched its first-ever swim clinic for women led by Olympian swimmer, Sarra Lajnef. In line with the fourth edition of Dubai Fitness Challenge, the swim clinic is in partnership with Hamdan Sports Complex will continue to run until November 28, offering daily classes for beginners and intermediate levels.

AVENTURA PARK: This unique destination and adventure parks get Dubai residents closer to nature. During the Dubai Fitness Challenge, Aventura Parks are hosting free Zumba and Bootcamp workouts in an amazing ghaf tree forest.

DOGVENTRE HQ: Head down to Dogventure HQ for a Doga class, the practice of yoga as exercise with pet dogs. Let your dog's curiosity lead the way. Smaller dogs can be lifted during poses like “Warrior I”, while you can practice stretching alongside a larger dog.

DUBAI LADIES CLUB: Rent an entire tennis court for free. With four tennis courts, Dubai Ladies Club is offering ladies the opportunity to book an hour’s play absolutely free. Just bring a friend, towel and your racquet.

IGNITE: Enjoy a free rental of a standup paddle board or single-seater kayak, available for the first 3 bookings daily. Limited spots available and you must be able to swim!

DUBAI CREEK ACADEMIES: The whole family can sign up for free community golf on the minigolf course and Par 3 on Tuesdays from 4pm to 6pm and no advance booking is required and equipment is provided where required. This class also includes a 20 per cent discount on food and drinks at Lakeview restaurant.

PRIVILEE: This one is for Privilee Members. When you join their membership or are already part of it, you have access to thousands of free fitness classes (plus unlimited beach and pool access). SWIMMING WONDERS: For Dubai Fitness Challange every Thursday there is a free class of AquaFit at 9am at Hilton al Habtoor for the first three customers – first booked, first served. AquaFit is a water-based exercise program. It is a full-body workout which builds strength, increases flexibility and mobility while getting your cardio fix.
