Coronavirus: Getty Museum challenged people to recreate artworks at home

Recently, Getty Museum sent out a tweet challenging people at home to recreate famous art works.

The tweet said: We challenge you to recreate a work of art with objects (and people) in your home. 🥇 Choose your favorite artwork 🥈 Find three things lying around your house⠀ 🥉 Recreate the artwork with those items

Basically, the challenge asks people around the world to use three things they have lying around their homes to recreate their favorite work of art.

Since we can't actually visit any art museums, we can look at and appreciate art from home, while also taking the time to replicate our favourite pieces.

You can try it yourself at home with the hashtag #GettyMuseumChallenge

Some have gotten super creative with their replicas.

While others have even gotten their pets involved.

Many are using the scarce commodity: Toilet paper
