Claypot, the North Indian restaurant in Bur Dubai, is back with a bigger menu and brand new interiors. Reopened on India’s Independence Day on August 15, the restaurant’s re-designed food offerings now include specials from the South (don’t miss the Chettinad pepper chicken) and the East (the Bengal prawn curry is top class). There’s now a live food trolley serving popular Indian street food and drinks, and a live band serving up the hottest Bollywood tunes.

The fresh new interiors are inspired by temple designs.

A highlight is definitely the buffet, with The Buffet Lunch (Sunday to Thursday, from 12-3pm) priced at Dh45 per person and the Friday Desi Brunch (12-4pm) at just Dh69 per person.

Claypot is located at Citymax Bur Dubai. For reservations, call 050-1007065 or 055-7269473.
