REIF LAUNCHES A NEW BREAKFAST MENU: Reif Japanese Kushiyaki has just launched Asagohan, a Japanese morning breakfast meal available every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from September, 16 running from 8.30am until 3pm to meet demand from late risers. The menu showcases a mix of savoury and sweet Far Eastern-inspired breakfast dishes, alongside European classics – all boasting Reif’s unconventional twist. Some examples include tamago (egg) sando with milk bread and tonkatsu sauce; monkey bread with kaya jam and salted butter; galette with a selection of fillings such as cheese, walnuts and honey; and Reif Benedict with steamed buns, shiso-cured salmon and yuzu kosho hollandaise. All bread and buns are baked daily inhouse, with a special kids sando also on offer. Prices range from Dh25 to Dh70. Meanwhile, Reif’s trademark desserts including mini versions of the Instagram-famous ‘toilet roll’ lemon and yuzu cake are available all day for dine-in, takeaway and delivery through Deliveroo.

JAZZ FESTIVAL AT THE PANGOLIN: The much loved Sports City restaurant, The Pangolin are launching four months of live music in their live music festival lineup, starting this month, up until December. Launching this month is The Juniper & Jazz Festival, will focus on a selection of premium beverages. Guests are invited to join the festival starting on September 16 and 17 of September while enjoying live music from Katarina and the Jazz Band, singing classic jazz hits throughout the day to keep those toes tapping. Beverages are priced at Dh50 throughout the festival. Food from the new menu is all on offer, including dishes such as; a mixture of burgers, salads, pastas, seafood and meat from the Meat Room.
