Kino's Cafe
This little cafe is a hidden gem in the usually crowded Dubai Mall. It has great views of the fountains, as well as tons of natural lighting. The menu has a nice selection of coffee, juices and soft drinks. The most important thing is that the Wi-Fi is free.

Spill The Bean
This little coffee shop takes up a nice corner in the Sustainable City. With comfy seats and floor to ceiling windows, Spill the Bean is a great place to work. There’s also lots of plugs, free Wi-Fi and the place is usually very quiet - not to mention the great food and coffee.

Grano Coffee
It’s as if Grano coffee wanted to be the ultimate spot for writers to come and work. The seats are comfy, there’s plenty of natural light and the coffee is great. The staff is unobtrusive, and of coure, there's free Wi-Fi.

Kuttab Café

Kuttab Publishing launched a bookstore cafe, which is very Arabic centric. A lot of the books are Arabic and include a vast range of books from children’s literature to deep Arabic philosophy. There are of course some English books, but this cafe is a perfect place to learn the Arabic language. It has a super cool and modern Arabic design and is a great place to sit and work.

The Media Lounge
Because of location alone, The Media Lounge is a great spot to work or write at. This cafe is definitely targeting the Dubai Media City crowd. It features magazine covers all over the walls and very sleek and modern style. The free Wi-Fi and the delious desserts, make this one of our favorite locations to sit and work at.

Nadi Al Qouz
These guys have converted Warehouse 90 into an everyman's clubhouse. Open only until October 29, Nadi Al Qouz is a beautiful space that is designed to evoke ideas, concepts and feelings. The space is full of bean bags, hammocks and sun-beds, as well as work benches for those who need it. There is free Wi-Fi and a lovely little cafe called Wild and the Moon that will be offering some delicious food and drinks. Their black lemonade is especially tasty.

Clinton St.Baking Co.
