    Between heaven and Earth film
    CHECK OUT THE SPRING PROGRAMME AT CINEMA AKIL: Cinema Akil, Dubai’s only independent cinema, announces their Spring Program featuring award-winning feature films and submissions to the Oscars' best international feature film award category. The program kicked off with the exclusive release of “Between Heaven and Earth” by Najwa Najjar. To be followed by the MENA region theatrical premiere of James Erskine’s documentary “Billie”, a definitive biography of Billie Holiday, which will open on the 19th of February with a live introduction by the film’s producer Barry Clark Ewers and run until the 4th March.     Black Tap New menu
    TRY THE NEW MENU AT BLACKTAP: Black Tap, the burger joint with a downtown New York vibe added new items on their menu including the Old School Drive crazy shake made with a bubble gum shake with a vanilla frosted rim and fruit skittles topped with gumballs. Three new burgers join the roster of greats already on Black Tap’s menu. The Mulberry Street Burger - the best of all-things-Italian, the Philly Cheese Steak Burger - a prime burger made with a 200g patty and 200g of sliced steak with peppers, onions and American cheese sauce and many more additions.     JUNGLE BAY WATERPARK LAUNCHES: Located right on the bay of Mina Seyahi, this beachside attraction offers a Santorini vibe waterpark, that’s a fun day out for the entire family. Jungle Bay features multiple attractions for all ages including The Lighthouse, Whizzard and Body Slides as well as Gentle Kids’ Slides. Aqua play is specially designed to engage children of all ages, with no height restrictions offering clear lines of sight for parents supervising on the sidelines. Family Waves is a 6-meter wave pool offering hours of fun, while The Beach restaurant will ensure guests can energize with a casual food and beverage menu available throughout the day.     CELEBRATE WORLD NUTELLA DAY WITH BABKA: Known for their fresh, made-from-scratch bakes, LDC Kitchen + Coffee celebrate Nutella day with their homemade babka. A soft brioche dough braid baked to perfection with rich dark chocolate for that marble appearance, and generously drizzled with everybody’s favourite rich hazelnut chocolate (because you can never have too much chocolate) making it the ideal indulgence to mark the day.     BLA BLA LAUNCHES A NEW BRUNCH: Brunch at Onda Nami, located at Bla Bla Dubai, promises the ideal brunch for foodies who love nothing more than sitting outside, with views of the Dubai Eye and the sea. For Dh299 including soft beverages and Dh350 including house beverages, guests at Bla Bla are treated to an array of dishes from the menu which include starters such as; Crispy rice avocado, California rolls, Edamame, Arancini and chicken gyoza. Main courses include; Cannelloni with ricotta and spinach, pan seared organic salmon with sauteed broccolini, Katsu Kare with chicken, Japanese curry and rice and Angus BBQ short rib with sweet potato fries. Leave room for the Chef’s selection of sharing desserts, which include profiteroles, red velvet delight and bread pudding.     FREE NUTELLA SPRING ROLLS: Fuchsia Urban Thai will offer complimentary Nutella Spring Rolls with a scoop of coconut ice cream when customers order a main while dining in.     VISIT A WINTER CAFE POP UP: Check out the special winter cafe pop up NOT a SPACE, a coffee shop in the Meleiha district of Sharjah has launched a limited-time winter experience offering visitors a café located in the Al Faya desert with mountains in the background. The perfect time to head down is during the sunrise or the sunset. They offer fantastic coffee, cold drinks, sandwiches and desserts.
