How does Malaysian Trade select the brands and products to feature at international events like Gulfood?
This year Malaysia will feature a range of products such as ready-to-eat meals, spiced fish and chicken, ethnic or traditional cuisine, food ingredients, beverages, sauces, healthy and organic foods among others.
We will also bring in a number of SMEs to the show. We carefully choose the SMEs who are ready to penetrate the global market.
Are there any new innovations or sustainable practices in Malaysian food production that will be featured at the Gulfood exhibition?
Malaysia is actively embracing technology to improve efficiency and sustainability across the food supply chain. We are focusing on developing innovative and convenient food products that cater to changing consumer preferences. These include ready-to-eat meals, functional foods, and products with unique flavors without sacrificing quality and health aspect.
