Singer Garou will be bringing his 20-year Jubliee Tour to Dubai on October 26.

The 45-year-old Canadian singer will perform at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, with a promise to revisit all his old hits and some new scores.

Born Pierre Garand, he began strumming his guitar at age three. Little did he know that the fun was just beginning. It was at age 14, in his school’s auditorium, that the Quebec-born, then-rebel found his calling; he played Beatles songs to a packed audience — and showbiz fever took hold.

Twenty years on, the entertainer has flitted across stages — his most famous role was as the hunchback in the musical Notre-Dame de Paris; wove through reality shows, including Destination Eurovision 2018 and Gare Garou; and created a cabaret programme for a restaurant near the Champs-Elysees in Paris.

Tickets for his Dubai debut concert start at Dh245.
