The Prem Ratan Dhan Payo star spends his weekends sleeping in, watching horror movies with his dad and indulging in delicious Italian food and chocolate
A Simple Man
I’m lucky to be blessed with naturally great skin. I don’t do facials/skin treatments. A simple face wash is all I use. But I do go for a massage occasionally. It’s a great way to relax. I think nothing’s better than lots of water and a good night’s sleep to rejuvenate yourself.
Chocoholic
I am quite strict about my diet, but when I have a craving for sweets, I indulge in chocolates. I also enjoy distributing chocolates among children and my neighbours.
Serial lover
I recently started watching the hilarious Hindi sitcom, Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai, and I totally love it. My grandmother too watches it, and I enjoy discussing the show with her. In English, my fav is Game of Thrones – hands down!
Big Apple Rocks
New York has to be the best place in the world. I just love visiting the city because it is such a vibrant, energetic place. It has a lovely art scene, which I enjoy. I feel extremely positive when I go there.
Bella brunches
Breakfast on weekends depends on whether I wake up in time for it! I usually brunch on my favourite Italian food – pasta, risotto, etc... Sunday is my cheat day, which is when I indulge in pastries, sausages and cheese.
Horror Weekends
If I’m not working/travelling, I enjoy meeting up with close friends. We go for a movie – I’m a huge fan of horror.
If I’m at home, my dad and I end up watching horror movies together. I also love watching old, romantic Hindi films like those of Raj Kapoor’s.
Favourite fragrance
Anything by Issey Miyake. I love its entire range.
Fitness first
I work out every day except Sundays, and the one fitness rule I follow is no steroids!
Men In Vogue
I’m a huge fan of fashion designer Narendra Kumar Ahmed, and I’ve walked the ramp for him a few times. Another designer I really like is Vikram Phadnis. He is amazing with Indian wear.
What’s In A Name?
I was named after Neil Armstrong by Lata Mangeshkar, the legendary Indian singer who’s a family friend. Music is my passion and I enjoy singing and playing the piano whenever I have some time. I even sang the title track of my 2009 film Aa Dekhen Zara.
