Dubai personality Kris Fade tells us what he likes to do over the weekend
Pizza is my guilty pleasure. I had some the other day as a treat. I love plain, barbecued chicken and eat it nearly every day. I like The Cheesecake Factory and if I wanted to indulge in a Friday treat, that’s where I’d go.
I go to the gym for two hours a day, six days a week. It’s important physically, but also mentally, and gives me lots of energy for the whole week. I’ve dropped about 30kg in the past two years.
I’d love to spend the weekend with my mum Gilda. I adore her and my little girls Noushie and Kikki and my wife Maz. My kids are my most prized possession, they’re everything to me. We’ll go to the beach or stay at home as a family and I’ll cook dinner.
I’m Australian so I’d fly to Sydney this Friday to see my parents if time wasn’t an issue. Zighy Bay in Oman is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The beaches are amazing, it’s a hideaway and it’s only a two-hour drive from Dubai. Perfect!
Working with Landmark Group’s flagship initiative Beat Diabetes and its new campaign Super Kidz, which aims to teach kids about healthy eating and fitness with the help of superheroes, Super Sam and Super Sara.
I like to play the guitar; I sit at home at weekends and learn new songs. The one that best describes me is Best I’ve Ever Had by Drake. I’d also love to see the new Avengers movie again – I’m loving that film.
