Ingredients
1 l milk, full-fat
30 gms pistachios
30 gms almonds
5 gms black peppercorns
5 gms fennel seeds
10 ml rose water
150 gms sugar
150 ml liquid sugar
Saffron to garnish
Method
To make the thandai powder – grind pistachios, almonds, black peppercorns and fennel seeds. Keep it aside.
Mix the thandai powder in cold milk along with sugar and liquid sugar. Keep stirring until the sugar is dissolved. You can adjust the quantity of sugar and liquid sugar to taste.
Note: You can also use a hand-blender to mix them well.
Serve chilled and enjoy!
