Wayne and Coleen exchange twitter love notes

Wayne and Coleen Rooney's recent unprecedented spate of Twitter PDAs have left fans wondering if the 25-year-old WAG has finally forgiven her man for a tumultuous couple of years, during which he was accused of cheating on her numerous time.

Unleashing a torrent of lovey dovey notes and kisses, the pair seemed back on track after allegations Wayne had cheated on Coleen whilst she was pregnant with their son, Kai, now one.

After Tweeting her hubby of three years, who was training in Germany, Wayne replied from his @Wazzaroon08 account, 'Flying back home now looking forward to seeing @ColeenRoo and Kai.'

And surprisingly, Wayne revealed himself to be a bit of a Gossip Girl fan, replying, 'Chuck Bass all day. He is a legend.,' after Coleen asked her followers which GG hottie – Nate or Chuck – they liked best, asking Wayne, 'What do you think love? X'

However, enforcing the stereotype that footballers aren't the sharpest tools in the box, Wayne managed to squeeze in a couple of typos, including, 'Hi all this is Wayne Rooney, just started so bare with me.' Hmm, it's bear, sweetie, bear!

But the Manchester United player did fire up his brain power enough to finally switch out the default Twitter image of an egg on his account, inserting a rather red-faced pic of himself and Coleen – thereby swapping an egg for an Edam cheese, really.
