Vidya Balan 'incredibly happy' with her nominations

Dubai: Bollywood actress Vidya Balan, whose risque drama The Dirty Picture tops the Zee Cine Awards nominations list, said that she is incredibly happy that her role as the bold Silk was unanimously accepted and liked.

“I am very glad that I have been nominated. One has received so much appreciation for the film [The Dirty Picture]. Let’s see what happens now,” said Balan in an interview with tabloid! back-stage on Friday.

Balan was rehearsing for her live performance on Saturday.

She added that her career choices in the last three years has re-defined her as an actress.

“It started off with Paa, then came Ishqiya, then The Dirty Picture. It was all new and bold. But it paid off,” she said.

Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif - who is known for her scintillating item numbers and blockbusters - was busy practising her moves to impress her fans.

We can reveal that her hits songs from Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara will be the highlight of her dance spectacle.
