Dubai: South Korean veteran actor, Choi Jung-woo has passed away at the age of 68, his agency confirmed.

On May 27, a representative from the agency, Bless Entertainment announced, “Actor Choi Jung-woo has passed away. The exact cause of death has not yet been confirmed.”

The actor, who made his debut in 1975 with the play The Life of an Actor, worked as a stage and voice actor for years before he appeared in television shows and movies in the Korean industry.

Jung-woo appeared in k-dramas and movies like The Legend of the Blue Sea, Two Cops, The Chaser, Tyrant and more.

The funeral is said to take place at 10am on May 29 at the Gimpo Woori Hospital Funeral Home, according to reports by Korean media outlets.
