Tahir Raj Bhasin with Shweta Tripathi and Anchal Singh in 'Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein'
‘Yeh Kali Kali Ankhen’ (Netflix): In this web series, the wealthy daughter of a goon falls in love with a local man – obsessively so. She’s the apple of her daddy’s eye and he’ll indulge her every whim, including getting her hitched to this fellow. Unfortunately for the groom-to-be, this ‘love’ is going to prove to be his undoing. Part-hilarious, part-sinister and fully interesting, ‘Yeh Kali Kali Ankhen’ promises to be quite the show. Image Credit: Instagram/AnchalSingh

    A still from Aranyak
Aranyak (Netflix): For this female cop, played by Raveena Tandon, an interesting case possibly involving a serial killer lands under her jurisdiction just as she was about to take a sabbatical. Set in a Himachal Pradesh hamlet, viewers will be left clutching the ends of their seats to see if she will be able to catch him before he strikes again. Image Credit: Netflix

    Taapsee Pannu, Tahir Raj Bhasin
‘Looop Lapeta’ (Netflix, on February 4): In this desi-version of the German classic ‘Run Lola Run’, Savi (Taapsee Pannu) makes some desperate choices while trying to save her boyfriend. The narrative takes on a prism-style storytelling approach that winds down every possible path Savi may have chosen to show us what the outcomes of each of those decisions would look like.
