Resident Playbook: Premiere date of the upcoming K-drama released

Dubai: While popular Korean drama Hospital Playlist has come to an end, fans of the hit series can look forward to the spin-off series, Resident Playbook.

The series is said to depict realistic and relatable hospital lives, friendships and more between Obstetrics and Gynaecology residents at the Jongro branch of Yulje Medical Center.

Starring Go Youn-jung , Kang You-seok, Shin Si-ah and Han Ye-ji, the drama officially announced it will premiere on April 12.

A teaser for the drama was also released to offer a glimpse into the lives of the residents. “Here comes another unpredictable day,” at the end of the video shows the audience just how chaotic and unpredictable a day as a resident can be.

According to Soompi, the production team shared, “Through the journey of growth of these main characters who start out lacking knowledge, skill, and confidence, we aim to tell a relatable story that resonates with all newcomers to the workforce. As they face challenges in an unfamiliar environment, each character will grow at their own pace, and we hope viewers will look forward to their journey.”
