New face to grace Ram Milaayi Jodi

Weirder stuff has happened on the Hindi soap opera scene.

After nearly a year, Ram Milaayi Jodi's [Match Made In Heaven] lead actor Nishant Malkani will be replaced by a new face to play his part in the romantic drama. Malkani — who gained popularity as the soft-spoken Anukalp who wins over Mona against all odds — has passed the baton to Kashmiri model-turned-actor Sujay Reu.

An Aeronautical Engineer by profession, the newcomer has just wrapped an advertisement shoot with Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor for an automobile company.
