Dubai: He’s back. He’s bolder. And he’s ready to take Dubai into a trance mode —again.

After a show-stopping performance at the debut edition of UNTOLD Dubai earlier this year, Armin van Buuren has officially been announced as the second headliner for the four-day fest. The trance legend joins Martin Garrix on the main stage lineup for the festival set to take place from November 6 to 9, 2025, at Dubai Parks and Resorts.

If last year was any indication, we’re in for a seismic celebration of sound.

Van Buuren, who first helped launch UNTOLD Dubai at Expo City with a historic DJ set atop the Burj Khalifa, called the moment one of the most thrilling of his career in an earlier interview with Gulf News.

“It was my biggest honour to play at this iconic building... I know how much this extraordinary building means to the people of Dubai. It’s the tallest building in the world and holds such a legacy,” he said.

He didn’t just perform—he made history. Armin became the first DJ to film a set on top of the Burj Khalifa, with a dazzling display of LED visuals that lit up the world’s tallest tower. “Having my own visuals on the biggest LED screens in the world felt mind-blowing. There were drones, even a helicopter… At one point, I saw 13 drones filming everything,” he revealed.

The Dutch DJ's connection to the UNTOLD brand runs deep. “I definitely have this deep relationship with UNTOLD... I was booked for the very first one in Romania in 2015, and I ended up playing a five-hour set instead of two because the vibe was just crazy.” It’s no wonder he’s returning for the UAE edition—this time, in a much bigger setting.

UNTOLD Dubai 2025 moves to Dubai Parks and Resorts, transforming the region’s biggest entertainment destination into a full-blown electronic utopia. Think roller coasters, immersive zones, gourmet food, and beats that never stop.

And Armin’s bond with Dubai goes far beyond the decks.

“I have been coming here for many years, not just for gigging,” he shared. “I even spent my New Year’s Eve with my parents, my brother, and my kids. We enjoyed the beaches, the theme parks, the Museum of the Future… there’s something magical about this place.”

With Armin and Garrix confirmed, and festival insiders whispering names like Steve Aoki, Hardwell, and even a possible B2B set, UNTOLD 2025 is shaping up to be unmissable. Tickets are already live at untold.ae.

Whether you’re a trance purist or just here for the euphoric vibes, this is the one weekend you’ll want locked in. As Armin himself says: “These guys don’t just put some speakers on stage… you can expect something special.”
