India’s National Award-winning Malayalam actor, Suraj Venjaramoodu, will attend the international premiere of his latest movie Kuttanpillayude Sivarathri in Dubai on June 28.

The movie is the second directorial attempt of Dubai-based radio presenter Jean Markose of Malayalam radio station Hit FM. It is produced by the Oman-based Keralite, Raji Nandakumar.

Venjaramoodu plays the role of a humble policeman who struggles to host an army of his relatives during the Hindu festival of Shivratri.

At the Dubai premiere, Venjaramoodu will be accompanied by South Indian playback singer Sayanora Philip, who debuted as a music composer in the movie. Joining them will be Biju Sopanam of the Uppum Mulakum Malayalam TV serial-fame, along with almost 45 artists from the UAE.

Actor, TV presenter and Markose’s colleague, Mithun Ramesh, along with Srinda Arhaan have also played major roles in the movie.

Expat writer Joselet Joseph has penned the script. Cinematography is by Fazil Nassar and Dubai-based Shibish K. Chandran is the editor.

The international premiere will be held at two screens of Novo Cinemas in Ibn Battuta Mall at 9.30pm. Tickets are available via several online platforms.
