Dive into the chaotic romance of Ski Into Love this summer
Who says you need sun to binge in summer? Ski Into Love is the perfect chaotic cocktail of romance, drama, and snowboarding that will have you hitting next episode.
Sure, the title’s a mistranslation (it’s snowboarding, not skiing), and yes, the snowboarding logic is hilariously flawed—Big Air riders suddenly slalom racing? Please. But if you’re into action sports, you’ll find joy spotting board models, eyeing trick accuracy.
Despite its sanitized take on a sport born from rebellion, the series delivers: goofy national team chaos, a traumatised-but-adorable Big Air king Shan Chong (Lin Yi), and a love interest Wei Zhi (Esther Yu) who may be allergic to common sense but is still brimming with love. The CGI prosthetics? Surprisingly great. The slopestyle erasure? Less so.
It’s not a perfect ride—but it’s fun, frantic, and full of heart. A little frosty in its snowboarding IQ, but a warm hug of a drama for fans starved of action sports on screen. Call it what it is: a hot mess on ice, and your next summer guilty pleasure.
