Yikes. Now that the final season trailer has dropped, fans are buzzing with theories and debates about what’s next. Will Max (Sadie Sink) develop powers and turn dark? Will Nancy (Natalia Dyer) finally end up with Steve (Joe Keery)? Or is Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) facing her final fate?

Moreover, what happens to the central romance in the show? Will it survive? Fans are turning to rather morbid conclusions: Eleven and Mike's blooming love story might just not make it. Mike and Eleven have been inseparable practically from the start of the show, after all, Mike was the one who found her in the woods, took her in, and protected her.
