Mohanlal and Malayalam director Ranjith’s last outing together was Spirit, a social satire on alcoholism. Besides winning a National Film Award, Spirit brought home Asianet awards for Mohanlal and Ranjith. The duo are back again with Loham, an action thriller releasing in the UAE on August 28.
Mohanlal fans can catch their idol twirling his moustache and intimidating goons with one liners before he sends them flying.
Tamil actress Andrea Jeremiah is paired opposite Mohanlal. The supporting cast includes Siddique, Ajmal Ameer, Vijayaraghavan, Renji Panikker, K.P.A.C Lalitha, Ashwin A. Mathew and Abu Salim.
Sreevalsan J Menon has composed the music. Cinematography is by Kunjunni S. Kumar. Loham is produced by Antony Perumbavoor’s Aashirwad Cinemas, whose last venture was the critically acclaimed Drishyam. Following closely on its heels next week is the Mammootty film Utopiayile Rajavu, Kunchako Boban’s Jamna Pyari, Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Kunjiramayanam and Double Barrerl, a multi-starrer with the Prithviraj, Indrajit, Arya and Sunny Wayne.
