Cameo role
Anne Curtis denies she has been confirmed to do a cameo role in the US TV series Hannibal. Curtis, however said, she was invited to audition, but had to politely decline as it meant she had to leave her blossoming career in the Philippines for a period of time. Curtis decided she is going to stay back and concentrate on her career in Manila. But the actress is hopeful she will get to audition for and secure a role in either an international film or TV programme.
Wedding plans
If plans push through, GMA artists Arthur Solinap and Rochelle Pangilinan could be walking down the aisle next year. Solinap confirmed he has plans of marrying Pangilinan, but the date has not been set yet. He did allude to a possible 2014 wedding — only if he and Pangilinan had enough resources to start a family life. The actor said it’s not just about getting married, but having a family. When asked how many children he would like to have, Solinap said he would want to start a basketball team so it should be a minimum of five.
10th anniversary
Pop star Erik Santos will be celebrating his 10th year in showbusiness with a major concert and two new albums under Star Records. At a press conference, Santos revealed the first album will be a compilation of his hit songs throughout the years. The other one, according to the Prince of Pop, will be original duets with a number of established and iconic singers. The concert, meanwhile, has been scheduled in October. Santos said it will be his biggest concert yet, and will guest artists who have helped him succeed in the business.
Walk out
Actor Polo Ravales denied he walked out of the sets of the TV show Unforgettable following an altercation with co-actor Benjamin Alves. It turned out the brawl was part of a scene they shot last week. Ravales said he and Alves got a bit intense with their scene, and as a result he suffered minor bruises. He admitted leaving in a huff, because he was tired and all his scenes were finished anyway. He said Alves sent a message apologising for making the fight scene “too realistic”. Meanwhile, Alves has confirmed sending an apology via text message.
