One of the world's most lusted after men has no one to celebrate his heartthrob status with

Robert Pattinson has revealed he spends most of his life by himself in hotel rooms, after admitting that his stellar career has been at the expense of his friendships.
Rob, who turns 25 on May 13, induced worldwide female hysteria when he was cast as Edward Cullen in Twilight back in 2008, resulting in the Brit star needing round-the-clock bodyguard protection when he ventured outdoors. But his instant fame meant he swiftly became alienated from his close-knit gang of pals back in London.
"I was thinking the other day that no one ever rings me up or anything. No one ever asks me to do anything," lamented the Water for Elephants star. "When I'm not working, I'm one of those people who calls up their entire phone book to say, 'Hey, what are you doing? Are you doing anything tonight? Can I go with you?' I just hang [out in my hotel room] and get drunk. It's terrible."
Despite dating Kristen Stewart and being besties with The Boat That Rocked actor Tom Sturridge (himself currently being love-linked to serial dater Sienna Miller) and new Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield, Rob also opened up about the fact he still can't get used to his fame, shrugging, "I try to avoid as much hassle as possible."
