Pop star Tarkan charged after raid

The lawyer for Tarkan, Turkey's best-known pop star, says prosecutors have charged the singer after he was detained in a narcotics raid.

The star was released from custody on Monday following his detention with 10 other people after a raid in Istanbul on Friday.

Tarkan thanked fans for their support, saying he realised "just how much I am loved."
