Couple have been going strong for over a year now and are clearly in it for the long haul
Dubai: Pop’s reigning empress of cool is adding a sparkling new title to her résumé: fiancée. At 29, Dua Lipa has already conquered global charts, red carpets, and fashion front rows — and now, she’s said yes to British actor Callum Turner, 35.
The Grammy winner described the moment as “a really special feeling,” and judging by her radiant smiles of late, it’s more than just the diamond doing the shining.
The couple, who’ve quietly cultivated their romance for over a year, are the picture of effortless style and undeniable chemistry — regularly spotted turning sidewalks into runways and date nights into headlines.
Turner, best known for his roles in Fantastic Beasts, Masters of the Air, and his BAFTA-nominated turn in The Capture, is no stranger to the spotlight. But now, he’s earned a new claim to fame: the man who captured Dua’s heart — and put a ring on it.
In an interview with British Vogue, Dua spilled, “Yep, we’re engaged! It’s super exciting. Choosing to grow old with someone, being best friends forever—that’s something magical.”
Fans were already side-eyeing her left hand after she posted some sparkly snaps during the holidays. Turns out, Turner had the ring custom-made after conferring with her inner circle. “It’s so me,” she gushed. “It’s pretty amazing when the person you’re marrying just gets you.”
No wedding date has been locked in yet—Dua’s wrapping up her global tour (final stop: Mexico in December), and Turner’s deep into filming his next big project. He’s leading the Apple TV adaptation of Neuromancer, based on the cult sci-fi novel by William Gibson.
For now, the couple’s soaking up the newly-engaged glow. “I’ve never been one to fantasise about weddings,” she admitted. “But now I’m like, wait... what would I wear?”
