Park Hyung-sik shuts down dating rumours with Park Bo-young, explains viral 'eyelash' moment: 'The way it was edited...'

South Korean star Park Hyung-sik finally addressed the persistent dating rumours surrounding him and Park Bo Young, which have lingered since their collaboration on Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. Speaking to Singles magazine for its February issue, Hyung Sik shed light on a viral incident from October 15, 2024, when the pair attended W Korea magazine’s breast cancer awareness event.

In the widely circulated clip, Bo-young was caught on camera removing an eyelash from Hyung-sik's face. The interaction reignited speculation about the nature of their relationship, even though the two have been close friends since their show.

During the interview, Hyung-sik cleared the air. “That day, I had an eyelash on my face, and Bo-young tried to remove it for me. The way the scene was edited made it seem like something else was going on, which sparked the dating rumours," He emphasised that it was a harmless moment between friends and attributed the rumors to misinterpretation.

The Doctor Slump actor also shared a fun fact during the interview, noting that while many male celebrities have jokingly claimed they’d want to introduce him to their younger sisters, no one has actually done so. Laughing, he added, “It’s all just talk."
