The social media star and actress dabbles in diverse roles and is known for showing off major fashion goals. The Karachi Se Lahore star is a globe trotter and her Instagram feed is proof. During her Dubai trip, the 40-year-old actor shared stunning portraits on Instagram from picturesque sights. "Laid-back but on it. Lookin up and sideways. Be prepared for all kindsa weather. Suck it up and wait for it.", she captioned her post.

Pakistani singer Aima Baig has found herself knee deep in legal trouble even as she readies to sing her country’s national anthem alongside Atif Aslam at the Pakistan Super League. Baig, who has featured on Coke Studio, allegedly owes Rs85 million in taxes. The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) issued a notice on January 13 over what it said was unpaid income tax. Reports claim the FBR is preparing to confiscate her cars.

Ali Zafar to face defamation case filed by Meesha Shafi. The Rs2 billion suit singer and actor Meesha Shafi slapped singer Ali Zafar with will see its day in court. The Lahore High Court overturned a sessions’ court stay against proceedings. This case and another that swaps allegations are now to be processed. Talking to media on Monday outside the Lahore’s sessions court, she told media: “I just faced cross-examination in the court. These reports are totally baseless.”

Actor Usman Mukhtar has shared details about his struggle with an eating disorder and how it caused him to lose lots of weight. “I suffered from an eating disorder due to that I have gone through dramatic weight transformations from 135kgs to 83kgs,” he said on Tony Navaid Rashid’s show ‘Tony, Tea and Company’. It’s unclear which disorder Mukhtar suffers from. Anorexia nervosa and bulimia are two examples of eating disorders.

Saba Qamar is to soon share the screen with Ahsan Khan, calling him her “favourite” co-star. Qamar will play the lead in the film Ghabrana Nahi Hai, web series Naina ki Sharafat, and drama serial Fraud, which will also star Mikaal Zulfiqar and Ahsan Khan. She will also play a police officer in Umer Ahmed’s Serial Killer, but it is yet not confirmed whether it will be a drama or a film. On Monday, Ahsan Khan shared a video of him with Saba from the set of their upcoming project. “Finally my favourite, one and only,” Ahsan says in the video. “And he’s my favourite,” Saba responds. “There’s no room for doubt.” In the video, Saba and Ahsan talk about their previous projects, including Daastan which brought them together on the screen for the first time in 2010.

Actor Asad Siddiqui recently shared a tragic incident of when he lost his child with actress Zara Noor Abbas. In an interview with Fuchsia Magazine, the Hari Hari Churiyan actor said, “We lost a baby a while ago. It wasn’t a miscarriage, Zara actually delivered a 5 6 months baby which I buried myself. We named him Aurangzeb. It was a good time when we got to know that we are going to have a baby but unfortunately some complications occured due to which we lost our baby.” The couple tied the knot back in 2017. Asad added, “It was a very difficult time for us, especially for Zara. She went through many breakdowns, hormonals changes and many more. I was quite depressed but I believe that everything happens with Allah’s will, whatever he has written on our fate, we’ll surely get it. You never know, maybe Allah has written something better for us.”

Pakistani celebrities are ecstatic after Senate passed resolution on royalties. Stars including Humayun Saeed, welcomed the news and shared the resolution will empower the Copyright Board to set fees for licensing and assignment of work, as well as ensure payments to artists. Until now, artists have only been paid once for their work, but media companies are allowed to re-run plays and films starring them in order to make more money. Royalties are payments made to artists when their projects are rerun. Since the death of actor Naila Jafferi, who was undergoing cancer treatment publicly requested that artists be paid royalties, and since then has been a source of contention.
