Tragedy hit the Outlawz, the hip-hop group formed by rapper Tupac Shakur in 1995, when member Hussein Fatal (born Bruce Washington Jr.) died in a car accident on Saturday. He was 38.

The band will still perform at Music Room in Dubai on August 6. They have confirmed that the show will now be a tribute to both Fatal and Tupac, according to representatives of the venue.

Once made up of ten original members (including Tupac himself under the stage name Makaveli), Outlawz are now only two — E.D.I. Mean and Young Noble.

The Outlawz’s Music Room performance will be their first in the Middle East.

*Tickets to The Outlawz at the Music Room are Dh100 in advance and Dh150 at the door. For reservations, call 04-3598888. Admissions begin at 9.30pm.
