Dubai: Kendrick Lamar proved once again there’s no one like him indeed.

The rapper took home the Album of the Year award for his album GNX, the sixth studio album which he released on November 2024, at the BET Awards 2025.

Lamar stole the show by winning five out of ten nominations, including best album, video and male hip-hop artist.

“BET has always made sure they’re representing the culture right and always put me in the midst of the cycle of what we represent,” he said at the show.

Kendrick Lamar also won the award for best video for his hit track, Not Like Us. He also took home the award for Video director of the Year along with filmmaker Dave Free.

The award show, which celebrates black actors, singers and sports stars was hosted by Kevin Hart.
