There’s more than one reason to tune in to watch the 2018 E! People’s Choice Awards in November. Everyone’s favourite K-Pop boy groups BTS and Super Junior have made the final list of nominations in various categories at the American award show.
As voted by the fans, E! revealed the picks last Monday with BTS being one of the top music nominees, scoring four nominations.
BTS are nominated in the Social Celebrity of 2018 category, which includes Ellen DeGeneres, Chrissy Teigen, Taylor Swift, and Selena Gomez.
Their empowering, self-love anthem Idol has also earned them two nominations for Song of 2018 and Music Video of 2018.
Super Junior has been nominated in the Group of 2018 category as have Twenty One Pilots, Panic! At the Disco and 5 Seconds of Summer.
Additionally, Super Junior’s Super Show 7 concert tour is up against tough competition — Beyonce & Jay Z’s On the Run II Tour, Taylor Swift’s Reputation Tour, Britney Spears’s Piece of Me Tour, and Katy Perry’s Witness Tour — all of whom will battle it out for Concert Tour of 2018.
Fans will decide the winners by voting until October 19. The 2018 People’s Choice Awards will air live on E! Live from Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California on Sunday, November 11.
BTS is busy on their Love Yourself world tour while Super Junior is prepared to showcase their special mini album One More Time in Macau on October 8. This is the band’s new album with member Ryeowook since being discharged from the country’s mandatory military service.
