Astro’s Sanha revealed to have suffered from depression during his group’s third album promotions two years ago.

On the topic of teenage depression on South Korean TV show Visiting Tutor, the youngest member, known as the maknae of the K-Pop band, confessed his own experience and explained “he had no energy”.

The 18-year-old added that after his schedules, he would secretly walk to the playground near their agency’s dorm and “just cry for no reason”.

Sanha felt better after confiding his concerns with an older member who was good at listening to his problems.

The singer made his debut with K-Pop boy group Astro in 2016 as a lead vocalist under Fantagio Entertainment. He is currently an MC of SBS MTV’s teen talk show Yogobara, alongside G-Friend’s Umji.
