Jessie J diagnosed with early breast cancer, shares emotional message

Dubai: Singer-songwriter Jessie J has announced she has been diagnosed with early breast cancer.

The 37-year-old shared a video on Instagram where she spoke of her diagnosis. She captioned the video with “No (more) secrets and is it too soon to do a remix called ‘Living my breast life?’”

“All jokes aside (You know it’s one of the ways I get through hard times). This last 2 months have been so amazing, and having this go on alongside it on the sideline’s has given me the most incredible perspective. BUT… Your girl needs a hug,” she added.

The Flashlight singer spoke about her plans moving forward. She said she was planning on having surgery after her performance at London’s Webley Stadium, later this month.

“I’m going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery, and I will come back with more music,” she said in the video.
