Indie band Black Honey to perform in Dubai
They’ve performed for Roberto Cavalli’s fashion show, now you can catch them in Al Barsha
Promising a mix of Lana Del Rey, Debbie Harry and mosh pits, British indie band Black Honey will perform at Dubai’s Casa Latina next month.
Frontwoman Izzy Phillips and Chris Ostler (guitar), Tommy Taylor (bass) and Tom Dewhurst (drums) play their “shoegazey” pop-rock at Bad House Party, an indie and punk music night, on May 12, and it sounds like one not to miss: According to The Guardian, “Black Honey are one of the indie bands to watch for 2016”.
Tracks to check out on SoundCloud while you wait for May to roll around include Madonna, Spinning Wheel and Corrine.
The show is at Casa Latina, Ibis Hotel Al Barsha. Doors open at 9pm, the band are on stage at 11pm and it’s Dh100 on the door (for over 21s only).
