Astro, Seventeen and more to release tribute song for late Moonbin

Dubai: Members and friends of the late Kpop artist, Moonbin are coming together to release a song on the second anniversary of his passing.

Moonbin’s friends and younger sister, Billie’s Moon Sua, are working on a releasing a tribute song and is said to release on April 19.

According to a report by JTBC, the artists coming together include fellow ASTRO members Cha Eun-woo, MJ, JinJin, and Sanha, his younger sister Moon Sua, as well as Seungkwan and DK from Seventeen.

Dispatch also reported several other artists who will be participating in this project. They include Bang Chan from Stray Kids, Hoshi, Wonwoo and Mingyu from Seventeen, I.M, Kihyun and Minhyuk from Monsta X, Chani from SF9, and many more.

It was also reported that fellow ASTRO member, Cha Eun-woo personally reached out to friends and took a key role in organising it.

A statement by ASTRO’s agency, Fantagio, said, “Moonbin’s friends will be coming together to release a new song in April. This song will be structured as a letter from his friends to Moonbin, and we will share more details about the participating artists and the song soon.”

They added, “We hope that this song will serve as both comfort and a heartfelt gift to the fans who continue to remember and love Moonbin.”
