Megan Fox is swapping action for comedy - she's in talks to star in the sequel to Judd Apatow's box office hit Knocked Up.

Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann are set to reprise their roles in the 2007 film, which originally featured Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl as expectant parents dealing with consequences they had not planned for.

Rudd enjoyed a supporting role as Heigl's onscreen brother-in-law, with Mann, Apatow's real-life spouse, playing his wife. Details about the role Fox is negotiating have not been released, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Fox was last seen in independent thriller Passion Play and comic book adaptation Jonah Hex, which were both released in 2010.
