2025, the year of Bangtan.  BTS ARMYs, the Korean global sensation’s fanbase, has been eagerly waiting for this year. It has been a long wait since the 2022 annual debut celebrations, termed as Festa,  that shook fans up as the members decided to take some time off and focus on their solo careers and complete their military services before returning together as a band. Nevertheless, the purple world is healing, a colour fondly associated with the band and the fanbase, as the eldest member Jin returned from military service in 2024, followed by J-Hope, the band's rapper and lead dancer in October 2024. The rapper already has a couple of surprises up his stylish sleeves: New music, and a world tour.

According to the Big Hit schedule, the tour will kick off at the KSPO Dome in Seoul on February 28 and run through March 2. J-Hope will then take his tour in North America in March-April, before making additional stops in Manila, Saitama, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Macau, Taipei, and Osaka. These count for a total of 31 shows across 15-cities. The tour will come to a close in June, an important month for ARMY’s, as it will be the 12th debut anniversary of the band.

Needless to say, fans are flooding social media in their excitement. “Started their solo era with Hobi, and now ending it with him.”  In 2022, J-Hope had released his solo album Jack in The Box, followed gradually by the rest of the members.

Another fan added in joy, anticipating the return of BTS, “Hobi going on tour till Festa and then BTS comes back again…do you see how great life is again?”

A fan took it a step further, visualising the full return of the band with the song Run BTS, a track from the band’s last album in 2022, which had captured their story and power as a global sensation. As the joyful fan imagined: All the lights go out at the concert at the end, and suddenly it switches on again and the team returns to perform Run BTS.

Well, there’s always hope, and ARMY’s certainly haven’t let it fade, despite a chasm of three years.
