Venice Film Festival: Stars bring their fashion A-game to red carpet

Actress Zendaya was the talk of the town (well, the internet) with her daring, thigh-high slit Balmain gown in a light brown leather, work to the premiere of much-anticipated film ‘Dune’. The outfit was iced out with silver and green Bulgari accessories that elevated the understated dress.

It seems Zoe Saldana also got the high-slit memo. The actress wore a shimmering red Dolce & Gabbana dress that was top-to-toe sequins to the screening of her new movie ‘The Hand of God’. She kept it simple with sleek black heels, just a few pieces of jewellery, and minimal make-up.

Helen Mirren made a splash at the opening ceremony and screening of the film ‘Madres Paralelas’ with a gown that was quirky and classy at the same time — a custom Dolce & Gabbana piece made of mint green sequins that was a beautiful contrast to the red carpet she strutted on.

Just like Princess Diana, who she portrays in the movie ‘Spencer’, Kirsten Stewart wrote her own fashion rules for the film’s screening in Venice. Stewart opted for something more casual than a gown, but still classy — a mint green dress paired with matching pants from Chanel that featured lace detailing.
