Taylor Swift splashes out on piano for mansion

Taylor Swift treated herself to the perfect Christmas gift for a new Wild West-themed saloon bar being built at her Rhode Island mansion.

The pop star whose album 1989 shifted a record-breaking 1.3 million copies during its first week of release, splashed out nearly £13,000 (Dh74,412) on a piano made famous by Hollywood star Barbara Stanwyck.

“Taylor is obsessed by the Wild West and the piano was played by Barbara in one of Taylor’s favourite films,” a friend reveals. “She wants her room to include a fully stocked bar, a long table, and the piano in the corner.”
