Louis Tomlinson’s baby mama Briana: Who is she?

In the 2007 comedy Knocked Up, Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Hiegl’s character gives Seth Rogen’s a chance to prove he was paternal material after a mistaken one night stand. This is One Direction band member Louis Tomlinson’s life right now.

Three years ago, Tomlinson joked on April Fool’s day saying, “Can’t believe I’m going to be a Dad! Wow!!” Looks like that prophesy has come true as he accepts fatherhood at the age of 23.

So who’s the mother?

Meet Briana Jungwirth, a Los Angeles stylist who met Tomlinson through mutual friends, just two weeks after his split from his long time girlfriend Eleanor Calder. The two went on to date for a short while in May. While they are no longer a couple, insiders claim that they are very close friends.

“Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother. It was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer,” a mutual friend of the two told People magazine.

Tomlinson is planning to get an apartment close to the stylist in order be around her and his future child, wanting to be a “hands on dad”.

Here are five facts you should know about the new mother:

Where is she from?

It is not really clear where she is from, apart from being based in LA where she works as a stylist and is an assistant at various fashion shoots around the city.

Social media? What’s that?

She leads a very private life. She’s 23, living in the height of the selfie generation, yet she does not have a Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account. There was a fake twitter account with 140 followers making the rounds when the pregnancy was announced. But now, from being off the grid she is being catapulted into the media’s strongest spotlight.

Not a Directioner

She is not a big fan of One Direction. Until much recently, she has only attended one concert of theirs.

Don’t want no fame

She is not interested in Tomlinson’s fame. According to People magazine a mutual friend said, “Briana is a really lovely girl; she’s absolutely not interested in Louis’ fame. She’s very private and most of the time they spend together is out of the public eye, just hanging out with their friends.”

Shying away from the media

The only media interaction Jungwirth had after the announcement was when Buzzfeed tried to contact Jungwirth’s relatives, and were told they had been informed not to talk to the media and that Jungwirth wished to have some “peace and quiet.”

Tomlinson’s and Jungwirth’s parents are said to have already met over the July 4 weekend. Johanna Tomlinson, being a midwife, is apparently giving Jungwirth pregnancy tips.

Jungwirth seems to be a big fan of privacy and one can only wish she gets her “peace and quiet” during this personal time despite being associated with notorious Louis Tomlinson.
