Former professional baseball player says the singer is one of the smartest people he has ever met
Dominican-American former professional baseball player Alex Rodriguez has confirmed his relationship with singer-actress Jennifer Lopez.
“It’s obvious. We’re having a great time. She’s an amazing, amazing girl, and one of the smartest human beings I’ve ever met and also an incredible mother,” Rodriguez said on talk show The View on Friday.
Since the news of the couple dating broke earlier in March, the pair has been spotted together several times.
Asked to divulge any secrets about Lopez, 47, that people would find surprising, Rodriguez, 41, said: “She just likes simple things. I mean, she’s a very, very simple person. Loves family. Is a great sister. Is a great daughter.”
Lopez has two children with former husband Marc Anthony — nine-year-old twins Emme and Maximilian.
Rodriguez has two children of his own with his former wife Cynthia Scurtis — daughters Natasha, 12, and Ella, 8.
