Gerard Depardieu admits to killing, eating lions

Hell-raising French actor Gerard Depardieu has admitted he shot two lions on a trip to Africa — then ate them.

“We broke down in the bush, in Burkina Faso,” he said. “Two lions waited in front of us and wouldn’t move. Hours passed. We had no choice, we had to shoot them.” Asked if they were then eaten, he replied, “Yes.”
