It’s been a while since we’ve seen Cha Eun-woo tap into his romantic side—but he’s clearly ready to change that. In his latest cinematic campaign with Go Youn-jung, the actor returns to his ‘roots’, as fans put it. And soon, there will be a video with IU too: We already got a glimpse of their chemistry from photoshoots. 

Recently, French fashion house Marithe unveiled a visually striking campaign featuring the two stars in a stylish, romantic setting. With their visuals and electric on-screen chemistry, the short film has quickly captured attention.

Built around the theme of ‘name,’ the video explores the emotional depth behind calling someone by name. As the two share lingering glances, they narrate, “When you called my name, that moment made my heart flutter.”

Fans are all in—and vocal about it. “We need a drama with these two, but a good storyline and script,” one wrote. Another commented, “I can’t believe this is just an ad.” One fan joked, “This is how he repays us for not doing a romcom since 2023 and making us wait until at least 2027 for another romance drama,” referencing his upcoming appearance in IU’s music video. As one fan summed it up: “They look as though they’ve been together for years…”
