BTS' V joins Nayeon's friendship wish list, fans joke: 'He has always been part of TWICE'
In the latest episode of Trick Kode, Nayeon said she wanted to be friends with the singer
K-pop’s queen of playful energy, Nayeon from the band TWICE, is back with her quirky YouTube show Trick Kode, where she takes on a hilarious guessing game via text. The twist? She’s trying to figure out her mystery guests without even knowing who they are. In the latest episode, aired February 26, KST, the guest of honor was actor Park Hyung-sik.
In the episode, Nayeon dug for clues about Hyung-sik’s identity by asking him questions about his famous friends. The two decided to swap celebrity contact lists, and when Hyung-sik shared names like Park Shin Hye, Han Hyo-joo, and BTS’s V (aka Kim Taehyung), Nayeon responded, "Wow, I want to be friends, too."
Needless to say, fans were excited. While Nayeon expressed her desire to be friends with all three, it was the BTS-TWICE connection that had the fandom buzzing. The reason? Both Nayeon and V are ‘95-liners, born in 1995—cue the excitement.
Though Nayeon and V have never been spotted hanging out in public, the simple fact that Nayeon showed interest in V’s friend circle made fans’ flood social media. Over on X (formerly Twitter), fans immediately started speculating about a possible BTS x TWICE crossover. One fan shared their excitement: “Hope to see Tae on her show someday,” while another hilariously added, “I wasn’t expecting a Nayeon x Taehyung crumb on my 2025 bingo card, but I will gladly take it.” Other fans recalled how V has always shown much interest and enthusiasm in TWICE songs.
Other fans eagerly chimed in, "Wait, Nayeon is 95-liner too…hope Taehyung can be on her show."
Hyung Sik’s mention of V as one of his celebrity friends? Now that's a TwiceTan crumb. “CALL THAT A TWICETAN CRUMB! WE UP (100%)!” a fan exclaimed.
Outside of these playful moments, Nayeon’s been keeping busy with her solo career. The TWICE star dropped her second EP, Na, in June 2024. Meanwhile, V, currently serving in the military, released Christmas singles, Winter Ahead and White Christmas. As for Park Hyung Sik, he is busy with Buried Hearts.
