Subhash Sehgal’s romcom Yaara Silly Silly is releasing next month and the makers are busy promoting the film. The second trailer, which begins with some very bold dialogue, was released on Monday.

“I wanted my concept to be interesting, entertaining yet different, which Yaara Silly Silly is. It is a mix genre of romance/drama/light-hearted comedy. So I took some time in developing the script. And once I got the script ready, I knew whom to cast,” the veteran director said.

Regarding such a bold trailer, and speaking of the expletives that are used in the film, Sehgal said that “keeping the character and the script in mind I had to maintain that lingo to execute the story”.

“There is a scene where the main protagonist Mallika says ‘Main [expletive] hoon’ and I had to retain these words which helped in dishing out the film naturally.

“Though it’s very bold content, I have handled it very sensitively. The main protagonist of the film is a woman, so I had to maintain that character in such a way that the film shouldn’t fall in a wild or vulgar category,” he added.

“I wanted the music to be the soul of the film, and Ankit Tiwari has come up with some really great numbers which are raging on the internet,” he said.

Yaara Silly Silly is jointly produced by Reena Bhushan Suri and Neena Subhash Sehgal under the banner Movee Dreems and is scheduled to release on November 6.
