Shakti Mohan to make Bollywood debut

Contemporary dancer Shakti Mohan is set to make her Bollywood debut with choreographer and director Remo D’Souza’s film.

Mohan, who has participated in reality TV dance shows such as Dance India Dance season 2, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, and in Channel V’s TV show Dil Dosti Dance, will play the lead in the film alongside dancer Salman Yousuf Khan.

“I’m very excited to be part of this project. Remo sir is my mentor and it is a dream come true to be making a debut through my childhood passion, which is dance,” Mohan said in a statement.

The film will be a romantic love story and will mark D’Souza’s debut as a producer, read a statement.
