Konkona’s ‘Death in Gunj’ to premiere at TIFF 2016

Actress Konkona Sen Sharma’s excitement knows no bounds as her upcoming directorial debut, A Death in the Gunj, is going to be screened at the coveted Toronto Film Festival 2016.
The 11-day festival will open on September 8. The film will be screened in the special presentation section.
“Thrilled to be in such great company with our film A DEATH IN THE GUNJ! [sic]” Sen Sharma, 36, tweeted.
The film is a coming-of-age story, which traces the journey of five individuals who are on a holiday.
It has an ensemble cast including Om Puri, Kalki Koechlin, Vikrant Massey, Gulshan Devaiah, Tanuja Mukherjee, Om Puri, Tillotama Shome, and Sen Sharma’s estranged husband Ranvir Shorey.
