Indian cricketer KL Rahul and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty have welcomed their first child, a baby girl. The couple shared the joyous news on Instagram with an adorable post on Monday.

Rahul, who plays for Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL, skipped Monday's match against Delhi Capitals to be by Athiya's side for the birth.

Their announcement featured a heartfelt creative with two swans and a simple message: "Blessed with a Baby Girl 24.03.2025 – Athiya & Rahul."

As soon as the news broke, congratulations poured in from Bollywood, with Shanaya Kapoor, Krishna Shroff, and Aditi Rao Hydari among those sending their best wishes.

KL Rahul and Athiya made their relationship Instagram official in December 2019 and tied the knot on January 23, 2023, in an intimate ceremony at Suniel Shetty’s Khandala farmhouse.

The couple announced their pregnancy in November 2024.
